The Saturday Market is open weekly at the Church Hall, 10am – 1pm. It is run by parishioners who are volunteers and proceeds go to the parish funds.
Come along and pick up a bargain. A variety of goods are on sale including
- New and nearly new clothing
- Toys and bikes
- Small furniture
- CDs and DVDs
Donations of goods and clothing in good condition are always gratefully received. Donations can be handed in to the Church after daily and Sunday Masses or can also be handed in to the chapel-house. The Hall is open on Fridays to to receive donations .
The 200 club is a fun way of helping to improve the facilities offered by the Church to the community.
Each week tickets are sold for 50p each, with a weekly draw taking place for the prize of £10.
Once a month, there is an additional draw where there is a monthly prize of £100.
The money collected through the 200 club is used in a variety of projects including
- Internal illumination of the Sanctuary Tower
- Renewal of lighting in Church, Hall and House
- Sending representatives to World Youth Day
